Covers: Intermediate and advanced features
IMPORTANT

Prerequisites: Module 1 (Core) or equivalent knowledge of Excel 2007. 

Please note that it won't be possible to begin this course without exposure to Excel 2007 - even if you are completely competent with Excel 2003.

Excel 2007's brand new ribbon based user interface is completely different to Excel 2003's menu based interface.  The new interface and many other fundamental new 2007 features are completely covered in the Core course but not covered at all in the Advanced course.

If you are not currently using Excel 2007 and need to convert from 2003 you will need to take the Core course (for more information click the the "What will I learn" button to view course outlines).

VBA isn't for everybody. To get value from this course you'll need to already be an accomplished Excel expert user (preferably by taking our core and advanced courses). Much of what you learn in our VBA course will also be relevant to writing custom VBA extensions to other office applications too.

With a mastery of VBA you can make Excel do just about anything anything it is possible to describe by extending the product with your own hand-coded features.
